On January 2, my niece (Ruri) and sister left for Tokyo (Capital of Japan). It's been about 25 years since I went there, I tagged along. The trip (300 miles away) took less than 3 hours using Shinkansen (the Bullet Train). A view of tea plantation in Shizuoka Prefecture
